Chapter XXXV
While the curate is in the process of finishing the tale,
Sancho interrupts to inform the group that his master just beheaded the giant
of Micomicona and that the room is covered in blood; only for it to be Quixote
dreaming of his battle with the giant, which turned out to be a wine skin. Eventually, the curate finishes reading aloud
the tale, in which he tells of the tragic end to all three lovers all because
of “a foolish and ill-advised” curiosity.
